The Farmers Markets in Frankfurt is a ‘must see’ for any American visiting the city. The gathering place for many Germany locals and a great place to purchase some fruits and vegetable for that impromptu picnic at one of the exquisite parks, like Gruneburgpark where the great thinkers of the day would meet, such as Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. The park is 29 hectares big and is a popular place for Frankfurters, and there are not one, but 2 botanical gardens; the Botanischer Garten der Johann Wolfgang Goethe and the Palmengarten . The park is located at 60323 Frankfurt am Main.

While at one of Frankfurt’s Farmers Markets , it’s important to pick out the best quality produce, by doing so, you’ll be able to take advantage of the full potential of the fruits and vegetables sweetness and freshness. Right now with the warm weather, the amount of summer produce sold at the Farmers Markets are spectacular and makes for a sublime choice of summertime flavor. At the Farmers Market, you won’t have to worry about getting anemic tomatoes or those too-firm fruits that were shipped from distant lands; you’ll only find an array of glistening, toned and ripe produce full of goodness and taste.

You’ll most likely find a Farmers Market within walking distance from any hotel in Frankfert like the Kaisermarkt, Bahnhofsviertel is an outdoor market located at 60329 Frankfurt that offers great food, plenty of fresh, straight-from-the-farm produce, butchers, bakeries, friendly atmosphere and good beer, what more can you ask for? Yes, they even have bratwurst. The Wochenmarkt Kaiserstrabe, which is only blocks away from the Bahnhofsviertel also has a great selection of fresh produce, right off the farm, plus they have a good selection of wines from the local vineyards and beer from the local microbreweries; try the famous apfelwein (apple wine), only 1.25 Euros for one glass, it’s surprisingly dry, not sweet, and it’s easy to drink, nice on the palette. There are many more Farmers Markets in Frankfurt, too numerous to name them all, but any one of them is worth a visit.

This is the adventure that I would have been waiting for, had I known it was a possibility, but because it was never in my possible realm, I never waited for it, because it is better than anything I could have waited for on my own. A small trip to a small place, one that is neither a city nor a state, is the only idea I have for a perfect time away from the things I know, and a perfect opportunity to be many things at once, in a city that is a state also, even when it is not.

This is my 28th birthday , and the time when things that are a millennium old will be remembered on my own skin. I don’t have any debts, and I don’t have any regrets, that I did not collect without good reasons for collecting them, and because I accept their weight, they are light, and this is another reason why I am not waiting. I write, because calligraphy is how these things work on each other, the skin takes to the ink, and the pen touches the human being where they are centered, and we each write each other when there is nothing left, no time and no heart.

This is a heartbeat here, however, one rediscovered, not between China and Japan, not seeking a birth in either place, but somewhere Chinese food is served, and on the streets of Singapore, looking for the history of reinventions and finding evidence everywhere of how I came to be. This is a birthday, this is the first birthday where I did not have to please a guest, and I was not responsible for anyone else’s happiness, and there was no one waiting for me. This is how a year begins, and in this place, with these words, and this skin, it is just right.

Spaetzle and beer are some of the treats that Bavaria has given to the world to enjoy. One of the best places to enjoy these treats is from an old village cafe, below the window, of one of the quaint hotels Augsburg Germany has available. This is a wonderful city to get a good dose of Bavarian style hospitality, food and ambiance. Augsburg is the third largest city in the Bavaria area of Germany. It is the second oldest city in all of Germany and it still has much of the charm that it had through its many years.

The restaurants in this city are still serving up the Bavarian Cuisine. Germans as a whole have a lot of pride in their communities and families and so they still love to cook up the foods that where created in this area. There are many different ways to make Schnitzel, Spaetzle and of course the wonderful sausages. Schnitzel is a dish made of fried meats like veal, pork or beef. Spaetzle is thick homemade noodles that are often topped with cheese and onions. Then of course there is the snack foods like soft pretzels.

All of these dishes are a perfect compliment to the wonderful wheat beer that this area is famous for. Lederhosen is what they were when they are serving up the weiss beer, like Franziskaner, at the Oktoberfest in Munich every year. It really is a must experience if you can make your plans to visit anytime between mid September and the first of October. The city is turned into a big carnival filled with vats of beer ready to be gulped. It has been going on for over hundred and seventy five years now and it is good people having some good fun. So hopefully you have a chance to stay in this area for a week or so there is much to food and beer enjoy as well as many nice people to meet.

There are many things that are exactly right about Singapore. It’s a fantastically cosmopolitan city state that has most everything anyone could ever want. If you’ve come looking for a great seafood restaurant, then you’ve certainly come to the right place. Singapore has a lovely and wonderful array of great restaurants that serve up some of the best and most tasty recipes in the region. Some of the most innovative chefs in the world are here, playing with notions of tradition and ingenuity, to constantly reinvent tastes as well as rejuvenate classical favorites. It’s a great place for chefs, because the supply of seafood is fresh and plentiful, and there are so many other ingredients that are available here because of its unique place in the world.

Singapore culture, generally speaking, is very interesting, and constantly in flux. The unique history of the place means that there are multiple cultures conversing with each other regularly here, and it has a lot to offer the rest of the world, too. A great case in point is the Nanyang Art and Food Festival. This is held in Xiamen, China, and offers the culinary and cultural offerings of Singapore, the Philippines, and Thailand, and centers all of their best dishes and works of art in one place.

This took place at the Xiamen Culture and Art Center, and was conceived of as a way of fostering understanding between the nations through some rather delicious methods. Here, you can see the splendid works of creative inspiration from Singapore artists as well as other cultures, and also sample the fine cuisines. You can be sure that some of the best seafood offerings were on display here, giving even more proof of Singapore’s excellent reputation in world food culture.

Sometimes it can be difficult to decide where you want to eat. This can occur anywhere, including the great city of New York. This can become compounded when more than one person is dining and it becomes more complex with the greater the number of people. Even for those individuals, and many of us are among them who have an absolute favorite restaurant and an absolute favorite meal, there can be times when even that just doesn’t sound interesting and you’re left feeling extremely hungry with nowhere to go. Tom recently had this problem, which is rare for him. He has been a life long resident of New York and he knows the city’s dining establishments inside and out.

However, last Friday night he had just finished a hard week of work and also just got paid. It is common for him to want to hang out and enjoy a great meal with some friends on payday. This day was no different than the others, however he just could not think of one place that sounded good. He was beginning to get on the nerves of his friends when finally Tony announced that they would be going to Cola’s on 8th Avenue and that was all there was to it. If Tom couldn’t agree to go and find something to eat there, that was just too bad. He was too hungry to sit around talking about food any longer. Tom new he had tired the patience of his friends and agreed to go with them to get some pasta at Cola’s.

This actually turned out to be on of the greatest meals he had eaten all year. After much deliberation he finally decided to have the Lasagna Classica and when it arrived the aroma alone lit up his taste buds. Tom loved his lasagna, which he had never before ordered there and declared Cola’s to be one of the best restaurants Manhattan. He now knew exactly were to come the next time he was famished yet wasn’t interested in anything.
It’s hard to imagine life without a grill, because the joy of preparing fresh food in this way has some spectacular side effects. There is a very pleasant feeling when you’re spreading a barbecue marinade you’ve been experimenting with over a nice piece of fresh chicken breast, and you start to see your guests start to get distracted by the smell. First, there’s a little bit of movement, that’s almost unnoticeable, where they might start pausing in their conversations a bit, or the frisbee game takes a sloppy turn suddenly. This is usually followed by a flurry of graceful gestures and motions, as if to cover up the moment before, but then the smell starts to waft again, and they are suddenly reminded that they are enormously hungry.

Food and smell has a peculiar reaction on people and animals. It wakes up some of the earliest memories that we have, and every time we smell barbecue chicken, the synapses in the brain take us back to the very first time. Because the relationship between smell and cooking is so much more powerful when it’s outdoors, the memories that it awakens are much stronger, and this is one of the reasons why the summer meal cooked on built in bbq grills has such a powerful attraction for all of us. People often remark on the way cooking outdoors can remind you of your happiest summer memories because of the smell, and there is actual physiological responses in the body that make this true.

There may be plenty of other reasons why the effect is so powerful, and it’s very likely that cooking and culture are intimately connected in ways we don’t yet understand. But as long as we’re able to continue grilling fantastic chicken, we’ll be learning about why we like the things we do. It seems likely, even, that in our lifetime, we’ll have a better understanding between smell, culture, and memory, but even when we do, we won’t be able to stop our mouths from watering, and there’s very little reason to even want to.
