By and large, it was just uncovered, that most governments are not keeping up their end of a biodiversity treaty that was signed seventeen years ago, and the wildlife is suffering for it. Overall it would appear that vertebrae species that aren’t human have dropped off nearly 30% from their expected numbers since the treaty was signed and no one has been doing anything about it. The main items that are causing these creatures to die off because their current habitat as well as the areas around them are no longer suitable have stayed at the same levels or have gone higher and worse then they were before.
