One of the greatest resources many tourists access when planning a trip to New York city is one of the many avenues for hotel recommendations. Two of the common reasons for anyone to visit New York are to see a Broadway play and to shop. And while without a doubt there are a great number of other major cultural attractions and reasons to visit this incredible American city, Broadway and the major shopping areas are certainly among the top.
And when a group of friends or a family or couple is traveling to New York to see a popular musical hit such as Wicked, the last thing many people want to worry about is where they are going to stay.
Hotel accommodations, however are always an essential aspect of visiting any city or country and often require a great deal of research and attention. This is why having access to great referral systems is such a benefit and allows for the majority of the tourist’s time to be spent thinking about all of the great things they will do an see while they are there. And in a city that is known for never sleeping, there is always something great to do in New York.
One of the interesting aspects of New York that actually testifies to the tremendous cultural richness of the city is the diversity of its arts and entertainment scene and the amount of great performances that can be found throughout the city. An example of this is found with the YMCA located on 92 Street. Its Kaufman Concert Hall frequently hosts performances from the world’s top musicians. When a tourist has their accommodations clarified and everything is in order with their hotel it greatly frees up their time to find all of the interesting performances that are constantly going on in the city.

When I travel to foreign cities I am drawn to the archaeological museums and sites, as well as to the art museums.  It is part of my nature, as I went to University when I was younger, and now I myself am a painter.  What intrigues about archaeology, is the visual evidence of history and culture.  This too may be said about my visits to the art museums and the galleries, to visually take in the cultures and the beliefs as they are interpreted by the artists.  I questioned the man at the front desk of my first stay at one of the four star hotels.  “Mumbai has so much to offer”, he said, and then he listed off a few places that he thought I may enjoy.

The two spots I chose, were the Mumbai-Bombay Kanheri Caves, and the Bhau Daji Lad Museum.  The caves are located in the Sanjay Gandhi National Park just about ten kilometers outside of the city of Borivali.  They are believed to have been used by the Buddhist Monks during the first century BC up through the ninth century AD.  The caves themselves were carved out by the monks, and most of them are sparsely adorned, however there is one cave that still has the remnants of a ceiling mural, Chaitya Cave, and this fascinated me to no end, archeology and art, commonly found in the same location, but breathtaking to see each and every time.  Sculptures of Buddha remain in the caves and surrounding them still.

Still reeling from my visit to the caves, the next day I took in the Museum.  The museum is named for the man, Dr. Bhau Daji Lad who spent is entire life taking care of it.  It is located within the grounds of the Victoria Gardens, and contains many different items, industrial and decorative, antique furniture, artificial boulders, sculpture and paintings.  The museum collection illustrates the history of many different regions of the country, not just of Mumbai.  The restoration has left this one magnificent building in and of itself, and for the next few days, weeks even, the history of India was forever on my mind.

I woke up some what late today, but that’s only because of all the partying I did last night and lack of sleep! I got out and had some breakfast at the Ibiza Port and checked the status of my boat, just making sure it was still leaving the next day. I then got on my moped and continued my journey around the island of Ibiza.

Today, it was time to check out the beaches on the west side. The west side is the same side as the airport. I ended up eating lunch at one of the 4 star hotels Ibiza has all along the beach. I headed back to Sant Antoni after my trip and lunch. At this point, I decided to head towards Cafe’ Del Mar because it was almost time for sunset. As I arrived at Cafe’ Del Mar, I could tell I was in for a fantastic treat. It seemed as if all of Ibiza was at Sant Antoni and either here at Cafe’ Del Mar or at Cafe’ Mambo.

The city itself was not nearly as crowded as Ibiza, but there were tons and tons of people at the cafes. The upbeat music playing made us all start once again to get ready to party. I left the cafe and headed towards sunset and that’s when I realized what everyone has been telling me about, Ibiza has one of the most spectacular sunsets in the world. I think I stayed there for about an hour. I walked all along the coast and enjoyed the good music and the great sunset.

I decided to head back to my hotel and get some rest before I head back out to club some more. Tonight I might just check out Amnesia, which I hope I don’t have once I leave here, Ibiza is too beautiful of a place to ever forget.

Mallorca has attracted world travelers for centuries, and has a very long and complex history that’s certainly worth investigating. Today it’s one of the hottest spots for travel, bringing people from all over the world to check out the lovely beaches by day and the nightclubs at night. You don’t have to follow the masses, although it’s very tempting not to, because they are always dancing and seem to be enjoying a very lovely party. You can see the other sides of Mallorca as well, and find out why so many artists and writers like to come here, and reflect on the world and create new work. There is a charm here that speaks to everyone, and it’s hard not to enjoy the sea and the sun. Our luxury Mallorca hotels are fantastic places to begin your adventures here.

You’ll love waking up in splendor every morning, enjoying the rare Spanish charm that speaks of a mythical past and a wonderful present. You can enjoy scrumptious meals here, prepared by some of the world’s hottest chefs, and enjoy traditional or contemporary cuisines. There are many things to do in the hotel, and enough to keep guests of all ages occupied and happy, and there is a lot to see in the city as well. If you time it right, you might get a chance to see the world famous dj Tiësto, while he’s passing through town. He plays an awful lot here, but he plays an awful lot in all the cities where electronic music is thriving.

Tiësto is one of the most famous in the world right now, and always draws a great crowd when he plays Mallorca. He’s part of a phenomenon of techno music, which has been around for more than a decade, but has been getting a fantastic resurgence in the past few years. Part of the reasons for this probably come from its portability, as a form that evolved in the early days of hiphop, when kids could play their record players like instruments when they didn’t have the actual instrument. Another factor is that it allows for an incredible mixture of rhythms and styles, and a good dj is one who can play bits of songs from all over, and make connections to their audiences by displaying their knowledge of the local influences. It’s a fascinating form, and if you can’t see Tiësto in town, you can find a lot of interesting techno.
